This policy explains how Statira Payments Ltd. (a product of Zijela ICT) handles information when merchants and their staff use StatiraPay Merchant, the merchant dashboard, and related payment services. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@zijela.com.

Information we handle

We handle account and business details supplied during registration and use, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, business information, and staff roles. To provide payments and payouts, we handle transaction amounts, references, statuses, bank and settlement account details, and related customer or recipient information. We also handle sign-in and security information, device and service logs, and support communications.

If a merchant chooses to request a POS terminal relocation using the app, we collect the location and address provided for that request. The app asks for location permission when the merchant chooses to use the device’s current location for this purpose.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify authorised users, provide payment and payout features, display balances and transaction history, manage terminals and staff access, detect abuse, respond to support requests, and meet applicable legal and record-keeping obligations.

Sharing and retention

We share information where needed with banks, payment processors, identity and account-verification providers, hosting and communications providers, and authorities when legally required. These parties receive information relevant to their role. We retain records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them when no longer required.

Your choices

You can review and update available business and settlement details in the merchant app or dashboard. You can control location permission in your device settings; entering relocation details manually remains available. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and payment-record obligations.

Security and updates

We use access controls and technical safeguards to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as our services change; the current version will appear here with its update date.
